Our Dream

Our dream is to promote a Tiranga in every home.

A thought crossed my mind that I have everything at home except for one thing that is, the Tiranga. This thought inspired me to start a cause, 'I Love My Tiranga' that would spread the awareness of the love for our Tiranga.

– Khalid Qureshi

Who Are We ?

I Love My Tiranga in it's inaugural edition, in 2012 had Mr. Khalid Qureshi run solo from Mumbai to New Delhi, a distance of 1900 KM. He ran over a span of 80 days, carrying the Indian flag on a mission to spread the religion of patriotism. He visited 105 schools and enrolled 60,000 students, encouraging them to keep a Tiranga at home. He also distributed 30,000 Tirangas along the way.

His national endeavour was applauded by the then President Smt. Pratibha Patil as well as the four Chief Ministers en route. The then Chief Minister of Gujarat Mr. Narendra Modi specifically appreciated his efforts to the cause

In the second edition, in 2015 Mr. Khalid Qureshi garnered considerable support for his patriotic mission. He was joined by 18 other runners who ran in a relay format. I Love My Tiranga 2015 was supported by ZEE TV as media partners. The run was flagged off by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr Devendra Fadnavis. Along the route the team visited 35 schools/colleges and enrolled 25,000 students towards the cause. The regular coverage on ZEE TV carried the message to millions of viewers. After 28 days, on reaching India Gate in New Delhi, their efforts were lauded by Padma Shri Milkha Singh.
